Desirelessness

"There's no spirituality in helping the world to progress, because what you're helping is to make the world a good solid Maya illusion. And the more progress you have the more you move up from physical pain into mental pain.

When desirelessness is attained through wisdom its power disintegrates the 2 remaining vessels, the astral and the causal (bodies). That's what we can do here, eliminate all 3 containers (physical, astral, causal).

By becoming desireless. When desirelessness is attained through wisdom its power disintegrates the 2 remaining bodies, the astral and causal. But the higher you go the more sensitized you become, and the shame of it all is that when we're here we don't realize that in this physical realm you can eliminate all other realms.

And there's only one way, to become desireless, which is equal to becoming ego-less.

I believe the word desireless is a better cover-all word than ego.
So, why don't you let go of your desires? They bring only agony. Momentary pleasure, which is only relief from the lack, artificially created, with lots and lots of pain.

That's one thing people don't seem to know is how intensely they're suffering all the time. Compared to the top state, wow, all the subconscious thoughts are a real heavy burden, agonizing.

So, I'm trying to sell you the idea that this world that you still think is so wonderful, is nothing but hell. And that by undoing it, we have an opportunity to undo the tremendous amount of future hell.

The only reason why you're not getting full realization is that you're holding onto the physical, you're holding onto being a body and satisfying desires. Well I guess the body itself is a desire, in order to satisfy more desires.

When you're free you see good and bad, joy and sorrow as the same, and you're really free to indulge in either or both or none. You make up a desire, it doesn't hurt you, and it doesn't help you. Or if you make up a sorrow that too doesn't hurt you nor help you in your happiness.
So once you get free of the concept of being a body, whatever you do in the world, it's done by choice, and it can't cut you anymore."

Drink the wine of this Love

THE INNERMOST TABLE
You want me to speak of love
and so I will.
But the Love of which I can speak
costs me all coins of illusion
and so I cannot compromise its virtues
nor quibble over its price.

This Love is Divine Nectar
a wine found only at
the innermost table.
It has seen endless days
of rain and sun and harvest.

It has been made wise and mellow
by the passing of time
and its refined taste
is uncompromising to those
who prefer their wine young
and overly sweet.

Although at times you may
appear to be swept away
by its dizzying effects
you will find that you have
the clarity of a diamond and
the reflexes of a falcon.
You will remain capable of compassion
and ruthless decisiveness alike.

In one hand
you will hold a feather
and in the other
a sword.

Drink the wine of this Love
and your life will change.
Instead of being a gatherer
of the Divine Light
you will be its shine.

It will be the end of you
and the beginning.

Will You Come With Me?

A flight of steps, old, maybe ancient- well trodden, or maybe not so - the steps are not visible to everyone.
Can you see them?
A pale sandstone, rough textured and at the top an archway surrounded by gentle flowers , and on the other side is light.

This could be Tuscany, it might even lead to someone's terraced garden .
Shall we see? Would you like to come with me? Can you see the steps, can you feel the opening too?

The vista all around is gentle, spacious, supporting, sharing the secret. Let's take the steps, in a measured manner, lift the foot, place the sole, exert a certain amount of effort, transfer the weight and hear the invitation to empty the pockets and leave your bag, no matter how precious its contents appear to be - then you can be lifted to the top step.

A moment of hanging on to the frame, a momentary looking back, looking down- a hint of losing balance.

The universe holds its breath, a slight motion forward, a regaining of balance and the touch of new air on the face, a stepping through on to the terrace.

A pale wooden table, a pottery urn in the centre, an empty chair just waiting, a man in thick russet cotton greets, gestures to join him.

A sense now of being high in the Himalayas and a feel of  Tibet. Even fewer get to visit here.Usually  to be born here is the only way.

The whir of prayer flags in the wind, a sense of the prayers tumbling all around, being woven all around.

The prayers have chosen a place to land, they have chosen you, just for now, like a bee chooses a flower.

Will you allow them to be embodied, would you carry them back down the steps or will you ask ' what is beyond this' ?

Terraced garden and table disappear. I can see my breath in the air. I look down- a fur waistcoat, animal hide boots. I look up and am in awe of the pink snow capped mountains all around.
The man now wears saffron robes, oblivious to the cold sharp wind.
I follow as he leads into the mystery.

He guides me to a red gold temple.

Diamond light at its centre. A haltering, a faltering. Can I walk into this diamond light?

Fingers first, a tentative touch, the light yields, pulls from within.
I enter, to the centre.
Here, face to face heart to heart with Maitreya.
Deep, rich Silence.

What is beyond this?

And we are back to Ramana, standing with staff on Arunachala.
Gaze upon the gazer.

What is beyond this?

The parade of gods begins. Siva, Ganesh, Saraswati.
Beware the empty images, beware the attachment to the dream and even the dremaer.
And I ask again 'what is beyond this?
And will you come with me?
